Paddy's Poems

All writings and photographs on this site are my own original work and are subject to normal copyright conventions. However, you may reproduce anything for non-profit, non- commercial, or personal use. If you do, all that I ask is that you credit me as the author/photographer and make a reference to this website.

These poems are a mix of romantic, humourous, and sometimes, sad verses. Some are based on my own experiences or first hand observations. But many are completely ficticious, and simply the product of my imagination.

The time-span and subjects cover my career in the British Army throughout the 1960s; my second career, in the Nottinghamshire Ambulance Service, and so on up to my now state of gentile retirement.

You will also find a short ghost story that draws its inspiration from 16th century Coroners records, and a few photographs of some of my favourite places. I hope that you find something of interest.
